I don't see you running a coffee maker, hairdryer, or toaster with a 1000W inverter, one group 27 battery, #4 wire and an 80a fuse....a fan, yes.
Also not sure about the 3 pages of over-thinking here...several good technical responses were provided, and as you pointed out, these devices are designed for the plug 'n' play crowd. Since everything works the way it should when connected, why futz around with a bonding plug?
