I'm glad I found this thread as I'm sure it is about time I bought new batteries. The last 2 27's that I purchased have an August 08 date. As we full time, the first set of 27's lasted 4+ years, so by my estimation, our usage means 4 years or so on the batteries. I was looking over the postings to see if there was any kind of (average?) life for batteries that are in constant usage (generally on a trickle charger) but those times when the park power goes out it is really nice to have the batteries for the furnace. BTW I am going to stop at a "real" battery store and have them run a load check on each of them.
