I did see the 6xx cycles at 100%, but if I ever get to that point it’s going to be a ‘count the fingers on my hand’ range, so I’m not too worried about that.
The SiO2 battery linked comes in at roughly half the cost of the carbon foam units, and is in the same range (price wise for me in Canada) as the Rolls Surrette units I was considering.
Putting aside claims of snake oil and beer foam, does anyone have practical experience with this technology or are we talking pure speculation? If the latter then I will discard the idea and go back to the wet cells, thanks.
