$405 Cdn wouldn't even cover the cost of a East Penn Deka Group 31 AGM with a 20 HR rating of 105 AH ... seems competitively priced to me. :R
That seems way too much for 105AH IMO. I have a pair of these (only mine are 100AH) but did not have to pay shipping as a local buy.
http://www.wegosolar.com/products.php?product=SKR%252d125AGM-Stark-AGM-12V-Solar-Battery-Sealed-125AI see bestconverters is selling these too (called 121s at a lower rate)
I keep them happy with my adjustable PowerMax (OP has the right idea!) and an ammeter so I know they actually get truly full before I put them on their Float.
However, unless I needed AGMs instead of Wets, I would get Wets for the price of each AH. I also have a pair of T-1275s which I really like for RVing and doing 50-90s, plus they take high amp draws without much voltage sag when running the microwave etc.
The OP might have found a good deal on a Wet 12v batt with even more AH than a 150AH T-1275 for about the same price.
