Here's a thought Jeff, pull the head out and move the coaxs. Mark them first of course. The travler must look at a couple of the birds when it goes for the skew. Since there are four lnbs and one could be out maybe moving the cables about will give you a clue.
Now I know you said your home is doing the same things so you will probably wait until someone close reports the same or different issue. However, as technicians we know it is possible for two things to happen at the same time. Or even possible but not likely that there is some interference on the frequency the 110 lives on.
Can you take it for a drive to a Walmart and test it there?
