Skylight sealant fused to EPDM roof

They now make plastic blades for the multiuse tool, just like plastic razor blades. Heat the sealant, then use multiuse tool at a slow speed and be patient. It works!

OP, chime in when ever, not trying to take away.

I use an oscillating tool (rockwell sonicrafter) and a special rounded blade designed for removing caulk. Makes removal an easy job and rounded blade won't cut the rubber roof. Heating the caulk a bit may help.
