We have an air mattress/sofa bed also. We haven't had a problem with it... yet. The 5er is a 2009. I've slept on it when the grandchildren are with us. My son and daughter in law have slept on it and haven't complained. The mattress stays inside the sofa when it's folded up. In the cooler weather it seems to loose some air but not enough to worry about. We've been lucky with it....I guess. The jack knife we had in our old toy hauler was a back killer.
