Bumpyroad - It did just that for me haha... I ended up with two 12-foot extension cords. I don't let the wife mow around the cords anymore hehe... I finally got the one cord buried in the ground so that the mower won't get after it...
The 12-foot 30A extension has saved my day a couple of times on trips. Every now and then the camp ground pedestal is just out of reach with my setup.
When I got my fifth wheel trailer I was eye-balling the various extension cords they had laying all over the place keeping their show trailers plugged into. The sales lady said I'll be back in a minute... I didn't catch on what she meant haha... So when she came back she said it again and left again. So I laid a couple of the 25-footers just inside the trailer door in plain view and they were still there when they got me all hooked up when I pulled away from their property...
