This is not normal for my trailer. It just did this a week ago. It always came in flat to the floor in the past. Now you can trip over it. It sticks up about 1 to 1 1/2 inches. Something is worn or out of adjustment.
The room comes in tight against the seals and they are tight when it is out. The measurements I gave is for both sides of the slide when extended. I can't see where anything has slipped out of adjustment so maybe something is broken or worn in the floor. The box is square in the hole as far as I can tell. When the room is extended the floor is flush. I just never had this raise up like this before. The nylon sliders under the floor have some scuff marks on them like something is rubbing. It looks to me if the box is tipped up more the floor would be flush again. When the slide is in, the top is out 1 1/2 inches from a wall while the bottom is out 3/4 inch from the wall. That looks to be greater than it was in the past.
I guess I will have to take it to the "experts" and that scares the heck out of me. Sometimes those guys make new problems.
