Slides stopping too soon.
We have a Bighorn fifth wheel with hydraulic slides. On this trip the big slide has started stopping before it is in. If I wait a few seconds it starts up again. My husband suspects the fluid is low...

When they start going bad they over heat, open up, cool down, reclose, over heat, repeat. Will probably be located near the battery and pump area.
Cheap and easy to replace. Available at RV stores and many auto parts stores. Look on the side for the amp rating.
As far as the fluid it should be near the top of the tank when all slides are retracted.

Check the hydraulic reservoir level with slides IN (retracted)
Should have a full mark on reservoir
Typically they use ATF (automatic transmission fluid)
