The instructions are remarkably vague. They warn about "excessive DC cable lengths" and recommend "low-resistance wiring".
IOW they are pretty much useless.
That Blue Sea Circuit Wizard uses both Ampacity and voltage drop for the wiring. And accordin to that, it is really Ampacity that determines the 4ga choice in my scenario.
And I presume the de-rated amperage the program reports (136A in my scenario) should be the max fuse rating?
