What Niner is showing is what the relative potential power output difference will be in a gas engine when the fuel is changed to propane. A 2000w generator will no longer be a 2000w generator.

I too would recommend Gasoline,, A Yahama EF-2400I exceeds your requirements.

And this puppy is so "Loud" you may well not even hear it running less the A/C kicks in.

True story: Rally, so there is considerable crowd noise.. Two generators runing a EF-1200i and an EF-2400i.. I could feel the exhaust from the 1200, and hear the 2400.. The man beside me could not hear either one. Neither could the salesman .. we did not have to raise our voices.. Till he loaded the 2400 down, Then it spoke up a bit.. Got about as loud as a Genrac 1000 traditional (But enclosed) generator.

I recently purchased the Champion 4000/3500 Watt Generator from Camping World. I got the 50 State Model for $357.99. You get free Shipping if you are a Good Sam Member. It runs my AC and everything else just fine. The only Thing I would caution you not to do is to run the AC and the Microwave at the same Time. Other than that no Issues at all. It starts on the first Pull. Iam very satisfied. It is rated at 68 DB which is below the Requirement on Federal Land of 74 DB.

Also, generators, converted to propane have their output capacity reduced by about 10%, depending on who you listen to. My Honda EU2000i will start and run my 13.5K air conditioner with a hard start capacitor, but I seriously doubt it would do the job on propane.

Keep in mind a 30 pound cylinder will last around a half a day running an air conditioner.

Have you considered installing a hard start capacitor?

What is your house battery configuration and has solar and an inverter been looked at? (using a small Gen, upgrade A/C capacitor) use your house batts and inverter to run stuff during the day.

a box/rack/ whatever can be safely added to your trailer bumper... so that an adequate generator and fuel storage can be obtained. IMHO an LP generator is a poor choice seeing your trailer isn't configured to use house propane to run the genny. If you were to configure the trailer to run it, you might have to upgrade the bottle size and or pressure config to run it correctly. A 2800-3000+ watt genny configuration and a hard start capacitor on the A/C would set you up just fine.
