I bought a champion model #76530 2800w/3500w lp generator a few months ago. We have not used it to run the ac yet, but it did power the rest of the camper fine. We use it to recharge the batteries and run a kuerig coffee machine. It is not quiet like a Honda or Yamaha, but the price is a lot less. It has a 30 amp outlet which is a direct fit for the 30a trailer plug. No worries about old gas gumming up the carb during storage with lp. We have an suv for a tow vehicle, so transporting gasoline would be a problem for us. I will not transport gasoline cans or a gasoline powered generator inside the vehicle with us.
