I use a AIMS 600WATT PURE SINE WAVE Power Inverter from AMAZON as my always on duty Power Inverter when camping off grid... I originally had a 300W version but I guess my needs sometimes really put a big load for the 300WATT unit...
I got my AIMS from AMAZON several years ago for $159... I think I saw them even cheaper these days AMAZON...
Having a PSW makes sense to me as I never have to worry about what I am plugging into the Power Inverter... No items will go up in the majic blue smoke hehe...
My 600WATT unit is mounted as close to my battery bank as i can get it and still ne inside my OFF-ROAD POPUP camper... I run two drop cords with multiple heads from the Power Inverter with one going to the Home Entertainment area and the second one going back to the cabinets next to the bed we sleep in... This is where we do all of charging of cellphones, tablets, and cameras etc...

I leave my Home entertainment items plugged into the 600WATT Power Inverter even when we are at Electric sites... Never misses a glitch when the power goes off at the camp grounds...
