There are several hundred stations broadcasting on high and low VHF RF channels 2-13. And more coming as the current FCC channel repack progresses.

After the analog shutdown, many TV stations moved their digital broadcast down to the VHF band. About 25% of the US TV stations are now broadcasting on VHF. If you want the best reception it is important to get an antenna capable of receiving both VHF and UHF well. About the only RV antenna that fits the bill is the Winegard Sensar IV.

Had a 13" CRT in an RV, ran it with MSW inverter ok, but the problem was the big surge when turning on the TV. I don't know if the CRT would have run better with PSW. Love the new TVs with no surge!

I'm going to a add , that annoying depends on several factors
Like how sensitive your hearing is
And where the inverter is mounted
I don't sit next to the inverter, nor is it mounted close to the tv
In previous RVs ,The inverter was mounted near the batteries
And cord run to needed location

In this RV I mounted it in a storage bay and wired whole house

I used to run my TV with a similar 150W inverter without a cooling fan, hence totally quiet. If you get an inverter much bigger than 120 to 150 watts it will have an annoying loud fan.
