Small inverter for TV

Looking at the possibility of dry camping, the only critical thing that won't run off 12V are A/C and electronics.

Am I better of to wire the TV directly into the 12V or wire a small sine wave inverter into the 12V and plug the TV into that?

Any fav brands, market is flooded with them with HUGE price differential.

  • If the TV is 12v compatible it is more efficient to wire the TV direct to a 12 volt source.

Lots of ways to do it. Get a good quality 300w pure sine wave inverter that's quiet and doesn't have a loud fan. I've got a Samlex model, about $120, works great. Others will recommend some good ones too
  • Is the TV a 12 volt model? If it is you don’t need an inverter.
