That's plenty cold enough. Remember, when the pressure drops in your regulator, the temp will drop also. All that has to happen is for the regulator temp to drop below freezing and try to pass less than a drop of water that may be suspended in your propane.

Temperature as the possible problem is very unlikely. It is above freezing in his locale. FWIW, we run propane with bottles outside of our fish houses exposed to wind and weather at temps below -10f and don't have problems.
