So, let's say I get me a good 1000w sine wave unit. I need to mount it close to the battery with some real bullet proof wire. For me to tie it into the existing 110v system, is there anything I need to do to protect the existing stuff like the OEM inverter? Or is there anything I need to do to protect the new inverter from the existing OEM unit when it is plugged in at a park? Yes it is true! This is new ground for me!
