Solar Branch Connector OK under panel or exposed?

I have some extra wire from my roof mounted solar panels. Is OK to loop it and stick it under the panels along with the branch connector or better to just tape it down with Eternabond and leave it ex...

Tucked under the panel is ok
Just remember to clean out the leaves and debris
A couple of times a year
Mine are wired up that way, with extra slack wire under the panels
