Let it put it this way, if you look into solar irradiance for a location it varies with the seasons. Winter can be 1/4 of summer.

If your 16 amps of panel can supply 80ah in summer thats 20-25 ah in winter.
Let's say ya make 30ah in winter, is an extra 3 or 6 meaningful?
