Why would one suppose most all converter chargers charge at 14.4-6, and not at 14.8-15+ ?? Because except for cold weather it would create a dangerous situation of boiling water out,.....defined as "frying batteries"
We all know that back in the Magnatek days, a voltage of even 13.8 would would cremate batteries in hot weather. DUH??
Brings up the other question,.... using even a little common sense, who would ever buy a battery that has a min charging spec of 15 volts or more, knowing that few if any charger/converters will do that?.
