Billinwoodland, with the LCD readout and all the programability of the viewstar, is it too far to put it somewhere easily view-able? I can hardy open the garage without checking the panel & battery volts/amps.
My 10A version is currently only seeing .5A from a shaded 60 watt panel charging 2 7ah gate opening batteries, the controller sees 100F daily lately in the garage but since it doesn't 'buck' voltage I don't see it ever getting hot.
With a bigger battery, I plan to use the default settings in storage and 'other' camping, jacking abs time to max.
