Almot, that's not right. I have my own results with PWM and am going with jmindenver's results as reported here, plus a couple guys from Alberta with similar results to his using MPPT. Plus I have Salvo's results with his MPPT he posted on his 130w panel to compare with my results on a 130w panel with PWM.
I'd use PT too, but he keeps going on about those watts thingies instead of using amps.
Actually, I am hoping somebody who knows more can explain all this so it makes more sense on behalf of MPPT showing actual amps in for panel watts but so far no takers. Right now jimindenver and the Alberta guys have the last word on that. Same as PWM.
