Most notable thing that China is "creating" is population for already over-populated planet, world-wide pollution, and demand for all kinds of natural resources. I think we would not be discussing solar much if fossil fuel prices stayed at the level of 70s and 80s, i.r. "before China". Scientific community would still be discussing the move towards renewables anyway, and solar manufacturers in Europe and USA would not go bankrupt as they do, now. The cost of batteries and many other items for RV industry would've been cheaper. Somehow I like this - hypothetical - world a lot better. Alright, enough deviating, this isn't political forum.
