Thanks for the explanations. Great how people are getting the most from their chosen set-ups.
The AGM/minor voltage drop under load advantage (details were in a thread a few months ago) has its uses!
I see that 23 amps mid-say max. Understand caveats, but can you confirm that is while pointed or close to, so that it would not go higher based on angles? If so we could add that to the jimindenver evidence.
----A couple people have now said they would get more AH per day using MPPT than with PWM, even with same max amps at mid-day. How can that be? The sun makes the same curve across the sky so the same angles at the same times either side of high noon.
The hours are the same and the amps the same, so how can you have more AH? Confusing what is meant. ISTR Salvo got some "flat topping" of his curve using MPPT which would do that, but that had something to do with amps clipping so doesn't count?
