I was hoping Salvo would post his graph of that.
Another question-- I can see how MPPT will get 8% more than PWM using MPPT and 12v panels, where the panel still has the same Isc.
I also see how jimindenver etc get the same max amps with 24v and MPPT as you get with same wattage of 12v and PWM--ie, Isc. from reports so far.
So--is the 8% gain only valid with 12v vs 12v, and the MPPT advantage 24v vs 12v is not there? Is the magic amp-making machine (vs what the panel does as Isc) less able to make "extra" amps when using 24v panels than with 12v panels?
What if you had two 100w 12v panels and had them in parallel as 12s and put MPPT on them. Peak amps would go from 12.6a Isc to 13.6 (8% higher)
Now put the two 100s in series for 24v and use the MPPT. What will peak amps be?
