Mark, Well stated! I have two separate systems; 12v panels with PWM and 24v panels with MPPT, all totaling 440w, and have found this to be true. The MPPT continues the push (per onboard metering). MPPT can (most often in my case) help to 'compress' recovery times (an important aspect in winter months) thus maximize available battery storage capacity.
