mppt or PWM, depends on the user, and their needs
i just checked the output on my system and it was still putting out 18.16 amps
my batteries are hungry, there are 3 fans running and my laptop is on, plus the fridge is doing its thing
i posted this in my solar thread
i can use every little percent gain that MPPT will give me

3:20 PM approx 4 hrs of sun left in the day
as of right now 1627 whrs 122ampHrs.. peak amps 22.87
18.16 chg amps at 3:20
i started the generator to power the 100 amp wfco
solar dropped only 3 amp to 15+ amps charge rate
3:27 wfco 47.6 amps , solar 15.1 amps
i can use every little percent gain that MPPT will give me
