Last time we got into this ISTR the higher the solar wattage, the closer it got to MPPT not being more expensive than PWM depending on where you size at for being able to use the lower amp MPPTs or whatever, but it was somewhere around 500w IIRC.
So smk with his 600+ watts is up where MPPT can be less money if components chosen well, AFAIK.
