Hi Salvo,
I'm glad to hear the Blue Sky MPPT will essential operate in the same manner as the Rogue.
I don't fit the mold, but then I don't have a TV at all in my RV. I get to maximum output by flipping on the water heater. I do wish I had the 20 amp diversion load version of the BS3024. That would let me add a 12 volt water heater and the panels would work hard all the time.

From this it obvious that a much higher percentage of time will be spent in MPPT rather than your estimated 20% or 50%, especially if one is creating demand loads. It's a shame if other controllers don't operate this way.
