Just got to say it again, how it is we are sitting here for five months off grid on solar with no problems at all (third season on solar like this), using the non-programmable, non-MPPT, solar control...

Sun in the morning and storms in the afternoon are pretty normal where we go. We did get breaks between storms but unless I was playing with the system it was in float by then.
With our 380 ah bank total we could go quite a while when we are being conservative. Unfortunately I think Honey got pretty comfy being comfy.
Well, I just don't understand 'todays' world in more than one way. But, back, back in the GOOD old days, it was just HOT as hell in Texas in the summer. Just that, 'hot in the summer '. Dad finally did try and make mom some what more comfy, with that thingy hanging out the window, put some water in it, hit the road. Guess that started it all. Hmmm. Where will it all end. For me, still don't like noisy gens.
