Not having much luck coming up with a suitable DC rated switch for the solar panel wires that connect to the controller. I am not real sure what the max voltage and amps I would see in these wires with the panels series/parallel wired. I have been looking for a DC rated switch with a minimum of a 40V and 10A rating and screw terminals. Would this be satisfactory?
DigiKey has a pretty good search engine on their website but I can't find anything that is like I want.
About the only thing I came up with is this one from Aims Solar on Amazon and it goes on the roof and connects inline with M4C connectors. And it is for 2 circuits and I only need a single circuit. More money then I would like to spend too.
Solar panel disconnect switch
Ideally the switch would be a double pole, single throw switch that I could mount on a cabinet panel just under where the wires would enter the roof. I don't have room for any larger fuse/breaker panel type box.
I also am still looking for a surface mount, switchable 20A breaker for between the controller and the battery. The smallest I can find is 25A.
Thanks for the help!
