Nope, I would not pay that much for one, but I still like the idea of a portable "module" you can run the microwave or whatever with. It is a big hassle wiring in all the parts separately aftermarket.
If you had a brand new small RV with no inverter, and you had the money, would you prefer to drill holes all over the place in your brand new RV, or use a drop-in module with no wiring required?
Granted, the examples of "solar generators" seen so far are less than ideal for the features some have/don't have. Needs work on that. Next generation of "generators" might be ok.
