The followup is much appreciated. I'm sure the break-even point is a several years away... but the convenience of not having to fire up the generator or head for hookups, not to mention knowing that your batteries will be fully charged and ready to go after the rig is stored makes them well worth it.
AGM batteries are definitely the way to go. It means one less thing to have to fuss about when on the road.
