I got that by talking to the Exide Battery Design Engineer.
When I was designing the system (and trying to decide on batteries), I gave Exide a call and asked a ton of questions. They offered to have their Battery Design engineer call me back. He did and I had a great chat with him. That is where the equalizing came up.
at the time, those batteries were a really great buy at Amazon. Around $175 shipped with about a $20 rebate....
