Mounting Update: The rig has been driven 1,800 miles without any problems and the wind didn't exceed 80MPH. So I wasn't concerned about the mounts themselves but as I posted the roof could be raised with the prior brackets.
So I bit the bullet and installed additional brackets across each end. I also located the roof beams which are flat aluminum and about 1.5" under the fiberglass roof. So the additional mounts are well secured with 2" SS screws.
