In our particular situation:
1) Our RV's oven for baking pies is of course gas ... not electric.
2) Our battery charging generator is too small (model no longer available) to hardly smell (uses a "green" H.E. spark plug) or hear (only 54dB when outputting at it's full rating).
3) Our modern computer controlled V10 gas engine is so clean burning that I am able to work (breathing too - not holding my breath) for short periods right next to it's running exhaust pipe outlet to get our leveling blocks out of the storage cabinet right next to it's running exhaust outlet. For ultra-quiet battery boost charging at way less than 54dB for one or two hours, our idling V10 can of course charge our batteries anytime anywhere in any weather.
We don't RV camp under the equipment conditions that grandpa did. I backpack in the High Sierra Wilderness areas (outside of all parks) if I occasionally want to revert back to that. ;)
