I don't understand the 24 volt vs 12 volt question. I am using the panel and controller for a 12 volt system with four 12v deep cycle batteries with 340 amp hours.
How efficent will the panel and contorller be with my setup?
I doubt I will be adding a second panel. I will probably install the panel flat on the roof so it will only be getting max input at high noon.
I have doubts about going solar because for the simple fact I don't like parking in the sun. I usually look for the shady spot. But it's a passive system that I would be able to benifit from and there may be some desert camping in my future. I would go for it if the cost was right.
What do you guys think would be a good offer to make for this system?
