We dry camp about 4 to 6 weeks a year. I will run a 22 inch LCD TV with a Portable Tailgater Satellite antenna off of inverters. Running the furnace is not common maybe a little as we reach September (Wyoming). We run LED lights when off the grid.
I will run my Honda generator 4 hours a day and over a period of 4 to 6 weeks I notice my power supply slowly dropping from a max of 13+ volts on the meter to having trouble to maintain 12.3 volts that is with running the genie 4 hrs a day. I thought Solar would be a way keep my batteries up without having to use more generator. I would prefer to use less.
