You can get a 270w panel from solarblvd.com for $202 plus shipping. A 230w panel is $150 or so. You would have to do a net search for the best prices. Personally I watch craigslist for panels and will be looking at some 230w panels selling for $190 to match what I have. Sometimes you can find the stupid cheap like my first set. I got a 230w and a 220w for $50 each.
Another option is to go with multiple smaller panels. 3 100w panels would allow you to use a PWM controller and save a lot of money.
With that range of watts, you would be extremely close to the limits of a 20a Mppt controller if not over in one way or another. You would be better off with a bit less panel or a 30a controller. Of those the Rogue 30a seems the most recommended at over $300. They also make a 20a if you decide to go a bit smaller.
I use a Eco-worthy 20a MPPT controller which fits our needs well. I think I would want something nicer if I were full time or even long term, but for a few weeks at a time it's great.
