Not a solar user yet but see the benefit for those that boondock alot and may be something in my future when I retire and have more time to visit those types of beautiful places instead of campgrounds. That said, just a thought I had about the discussion going on about swiveling and tilting and building the best mousetrap. I'm not going to be investing in it yet but I'll pass along for those of you tinkering, hopefully you'll develop it for me by the time I am ready to retire :)
I'm thinking some of the hardware from some reasonably priced Flat panel TV mounts could be utilized to help in getting the full adjustability it appears some are looking for to maximize AH gain with the least amount of panels and investment. buying a couple from someplace like monoprice, turning them into a pivot point for the panel(s)frame and you have a fully adjustable in all directions.
Just a thought to spur you tinkering geniuses!
