From experience I would dump my 220w mono panel in a heartbeat for another 230w poly. The mono has a hard time even waking up the system in low light, the poly woke it up while pointed away from the rising sun and started charging at a low rate. In bright light the poly still puts out 25% more amps for just a 10w increase.
