IMHO it seems like 24v is the way to go. A lot more bang and results for the buck. It has the added benefit of being less costly to expand down the road. Another discussion also seems to support this ("high voltage solar panels").
Are posters referring to the Tristar MPPT controllers?
Is mono or poly the better performer in low light and/or winter sunlight when panels lie flat?
And thanks for sharing your good experiences regarding solarblvd.com.
