DO NOT bypass the series diodes.. They are there for a reason.
A diode is like a check valve.
Imagine that the idea is to fill a tank with water.. you have a pump that when it is running it pushes water from the lake to the tank.. But when it stops water can flow backward (A jet pump can work this way).
During the day you run the pump and the tank fills up
You turn the tank off in the evening and the water runs back into the lake cause there is no check valve
Add a diode,, er, check valve,, and the tank remains full
The lake is the solar panel
The SUN is the pump
The tank is your batteries.
