Solar panels for less than ideal conditions - bypass diodes?

I’m looking at adding solar capacity to the coach. For boondocking, we figure to be in an area where overcast, clouds, some shade, etc. are common. I want to choose panels that will perform as well ...

My panels are the 100w mono type.

I'm curious why you have the chassis battery different than the solar batts?

When/if your batts are full or not pulling all the amps the controller can supply at the time, any 12v will pull from the solar first (least resistance)

My goal was to be 100% solar... I would guesstimate I'm about 80% solar now.

If we managed more carefully we would probably be close to 100%
