I love the Renogy 100w panels, and will get three or four more for next season. My goal is to not need a genny at all. (but have one)
I would probably re-purpose the 25w panel you have for a fridge fan or something like that, and use the 100w with new panels. (Assuming they are compatible)

I've looked at the Renogy panels and they're on my short list at present. Do you have Renogy 100 watt poly-crystaline panels?
I have been thinking of maybe switching the existing panels' output to the chassis batteries. (They're 25 and 75 watts, 100 total.) I have found that some items (e.g., radio) run off of the chassis batteries and I want to ensure the chassis batteries don't get run down over a long stay with no amps being replaced.

I have the Renogy 100W mono panels. I looked at them both and read up on the differences. While the poly is slightly more shade tolerant, it is less efficient and has to be larger to make up for it. The result is that the mono panels are smaller with a more rectangular shape and the poly panel is larger and more square. I got the mono panels because they occupy less real estate and are a better fit between other objects on the roof. They produce output from first light, on cloudy days, and during heavy rain, just in smaller amounts.
