If you are willing to take your risk with off brands, you can do homework and look at reviews to find no-name MPPT controllers.

I have been looking at this one which seems reasonably priced, but can handle a good amount of voltage (80VDC) coming in. It isn't a name brand, but it is US made and reasonably priced.
