Solar panels wire to controller: Length of wire?

The duplex marine wire is tinned, landscape wire, not. The jacket formulation for the marine wire is formulated to hold up to gas, oil, heat, etc., the landscape wire is not. The landscape wire will handle the same load as the marine wire but is probably 1/3 the cost. It's a matter of what fits the application and user preference.
