Do you think that tracer 40 amp is talking about series and parrele here? Page 9?
WARNING: Controller will be damaged when the PV array straight
polarity and the actual operation power of the PV array is three times
greater than the rated charge power!
WARNING: Controller will be damaged when the PV array reverse
polarity and the actual operation power of the PV array is 1.5 times
greater than the rated charge power!
When the PV array straight polarity, the actual operation of the PV array mustNOT exceed three times of rated charge power? When the PV array reverse polarity, the actual operation must NOT exceed 1.5 times. For real application please refer to the table below:

Also do you think I may get in trouble with a series connection if I went that route? Says 92 volts... Im voc 38.9...
But testing the voltage of the panels today I think I was getting 36.1 volts ( controller set to float 13.2) and its about 40F today.
NOTE: When the PV modules connect in series, the open circuit voltage of the
PV array must not exceed46V(for Tracer1206A) or 92V(for Tracer**10A) (25?)
It would be easier for me to hook panels in series then I will not need those mc4 combiners.
But I also have 275 watt panels I can use.. ( I have about 14 panels lieing around...LOL)
Oh %^$# this may be an issue...
4) The Tracer A series is a positive ground controller. Any positive connection of
solar, load or battery can be earth grounded as required.
