No. (that has to do with over powering above the 500 or so watts, the reverse polarity protection is only rated to 1.5 times 500 while the correct polarity over power is rated to 3 times the 500.)
Scroll up (on page 9) and look at the table for 12v system and 60 cell panel(s), 1 in series is best max is 2 in series.
the 92v/100v input limit, limits you to strings of 2 in series.
1 is best cuz of bucking from panel v to batt v (eff charts @ the end suggest a 95% vs 94% @500w for 34v vs 68v mpp). Either series or parallel works fine.
Can your existing 40' of wire handle double the current?
